Product Introduction
Adhesive-coated flame-retardant foam is a high-performance material that combines flame retardancy, cushioning sealing properties, and self-adhesive functionality. It is widely used in electronics, automobiles, construction, and other fields.
1. Core Performance Characteristics
1. Flame Retardancy
- All meet UL94 V-0 level certification (the highest flame retardant grade), self-extinguishing when exposed to fire, effectively inhibiting the spread of flames.
- Special types (such as mica composite foam) can withstand a flame temperature of 1000°C, suitable for extreme environments (such as battery modules of new energy vehicles).
2. Temperature Resistance and Stability
- Wide operating temperature range: conventional type -60°C to 220°C, silicone foam -60°C to 280°C.
- Anti-aging and weather resistance: resistant to ultraviolet rays, ozone, and chemical corrosion, with long outdoor service life.
3. Mechanical and Physical Properties
- High resilience and compression resistance: closed-cell structure provides long-lasting elasticity (rebound rate > 90%), resistant to permanent deformation.
- Lightweight and water-resistant: density 0.4-0.8 g/cm³, independent bubble structure makes its water absorption rate extremely low, waterproof and moisture-proof.
- Strong and tear-resistant: silicone foam has high tear resistance, suitable for dynamic sealing scenarios.
4. Additional Functions
- Self-adhesive backing: single/double-sided pre-coated pressure-sensitive adhesive, strong adhesion (peel strength ≥ 1300 gf/25mm), supports quick bonding.
- Insulation and dielectric: dielectric strength > 10 kV, used for insulation protection of electronic components.
- Customized processing: can be die-cut, punched, combined with other materials (such as aluminum foil, glass fiber cloth), adapting to complex structural requirements.
